Born in 1964 in MontreaL, Iam a painter who's medium choice is mostly oil and graphite drawing.At the tender age of twelveI began painting courses in the realist and classical schools.My instantaneous passion for this form ofexpressionstimulated my interest for painters such as Salvator Dali,who became my muse from that point on.His colossal and fascinating workleads me to Rene Magritte.Two masters of surrealism.These influences will be grafted to my first inspiration and hero from childhood,Walt Disney.
Completely seduced by the freedom of organisation about the subject matter,the choice of brightly intertwined colors in an overwhelming harmony,Ibecame completely and consciously impregnated with their collective works.They will have forged my perception of arts into a personal quest for surrealism;a revelation and nothing less.
Being very conscious of aesthetics,I exaggerate proportions,I render transparency opaque,I reinvent light,I curb straight lines and I upset the natural order of the elements with brush and colour be it oil or graphite.I permit myself to see the world differently,reorganizing it.In this lays my complete and precious freedom.
